That time when the doors of opportunity swung wide open in the form of JAP's Start Up Programme.
It all began with an insightful video call that provided valuable guidance. Upon discussing the significance of social and environmental themes, the challenge was set and our group wasted no time.
After brainstorming and debating, we narrowed down our ideas to two different concepts:
- Addressing waste during fishing practices;
- A groundbraking way to enable deaf individuals to "listen" to music.
With new insights from a status update meeting with a representative from JAP and further guidance from our professor, we collectively decided to move forward with the second idea.
Having established our direction, we refined our strategy using a business model canvas and on March 14th, we presented a captivating 4-minute pitch. A glimpse of it can be seen on the left.
This transformative experience challenged us to think outside the box and to embrace the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship in pursuit of a better future.
